16 years old Jain Munishri Chandraprabh Chandra Sagarji Maharaj Saheb will perform “Shatavdhan” (Miracle of Meditation through Power of Soul) on Sunday, 14th September 2014 during 9 am to 12 noon at Sri Shanmukhanand Hall, Mumbai. This will be first time ever performance of “Shatavdhan” in English, which is a world record.
This event is jointly organized by Saraswati Sadhana Research Foundation formed by Jain Acharya Shri Naychandra Sagar Surishwarji along with Jain International Organisation (JIO). This program is blessed by Ganivarya Naypadmasagarji Maharaj Saheb, Founder of JIO.
Even in present times, there are some Maharaj Sahebs who can perform Shatavdhan. Pujya Acharya NaychandraSagar Surishwarji Maharaj Saheb is the Head, who has taught Shatavdhan to his disciple Mahashatavdhani Munishri Ajitchandra Sagarji, who had peformed Shatavdhan in Gujarati 2 years back in Sri Shanmukhanand Hall. Now, disciple of Mahashatavdhani Munishri Ajitchandra Sagarji, who is disciple of Pujya Chandraprabh Chandra Sagarji Maharaj Saheb, will perform Shatavdhan in English.
The Shatavdhan event will be performed in the presence of 3,000 persons on Sunday, 14th September. This will be first Shatavdhan event of 16 years old Munishri Chandraprabh Chandra Sagarji Maharaj Saheb. He was a convent student. He renounced the world and became Jain Sadhu at the age of 15. During the short time, he has achieved this knowledge due to hard Saraswati Sadhna while learning 5000 Shlokas by heart.
Shatavdhan is a spiritual power of Hindu Sanskriti. During Shatavdhan, one has to remember 100 questions asked by the audience and repeat 1 to 100 questions & answers from top to bottom as well as bottom to top. If audienceasks any number, he has to state what was the question for that number. Even complicated questions of mathematics and history will be solved in Shatavdhan. The audience will be provided with a book with questions and numbers along with pen.
Mahashatavdhani Munishri Ajitchandra Sagarji will perform 500 avdhan on 16th November 2014 at SardarVallabhbhai Patel Stadium, NSCI, Worli, Mumbai. He will perform 500 avdhan in 4 different languages. This will be a rare achievement where 500 questions can be remembered from top to bottom /bottom to top. It will create a new world record.
