VisitBritain and Tourism Ireland's 2 City Mission Accompanied by the best of the British and the Irish Travel Trade
London, United Kingdom, Monday, February 20, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- VisitBritain, in partnership with Tourism Ireland, is hosting the Britain & Ireland India Mission 2012 from 20-23 February 2012. Led by our Director for Strategy & Communications, Ms. Patricia Yates, the delegation consists of 23 key suppliers from Britain and 8 key suppliers from Ireland. This mission will be held in Delhi and Mumbai.
This B2B workshop, followed by networking dinner in each city, is a great platform for the India travel trade to meet and do business with the British and Irish suppliers, to learn about new regions and its products and weave new itineraries to suit the ever emerging needs of our market. The schedule and timings for the mission are as below:
. 20th February: Workshop in Mumbai, 10am - 3pm
. 22nd February: Workshop in Delhi, 10am - 5pm
The BIIM is a reflection of our ongoing support to the trade here, as we recognise its importance as the prime channel to reach potential travellers in India. Britain and Ireland enjoy a prominent share of the Indian outbound market and our challenge is to retain and increase that share as the market grows and matures. Travel trade support is critical in this endeavour. The mission aims at bridging together the best of the British and Irish suppliers with the best of our trade to extend the warmest welcome to all visitors to Britain and Ireland.
