The Environment Market in India is at a nascent stage and growing. At the same time, India is treading on a path where economic growth and environmental concerns are at the crossroads. The continued concentration of population, especially in major cities, has put immense pressure on civic infrastructure systems. Inadequate capacities to treat and discharge large quantities of solid and liquid industrial waste are posing severe environment problems. Such problems on a 'mega-scale' are defining environment management as a true 'mega-trend' of this century. Such issues and trends would be the focus of the 2nd Annual Environment Industry Awards night.
Frost & Sullivan's presentation during the event will highlight the current state of the four environment markets and six key perspectives required for growth - Industry, Best Practices, Technology, Economic, Customer, and Competition. The key trends related to the Environment Market, identified through the comprehensive research programs undertaken by Frost & Sullivan, will also be covered in this presentation.
Panel Discussion on 'Economic Growth: Its Implications on the Environment and Overcoming the Challenges for Sustainable Growth,' will be held to highlight the need and importance of environment sustainability in economic growth. The panel will comprise industry experts and thought leaders to make the discussion thought provoking, and will showcase the Innovations and Best Practices brought about by them. The evening will conclude with the Awards Presentation, followed by networking dinner and cocktails, offering valuable networking opportunities and initiation of new business partnerships.
